9. Cookies & Tracking
MeetBobbie uses cookies and similar storage for authentication, security, and performance. You may disable cookies in your browser, but functionality may be limited.
On our public pages we may also use privacy-friendly page analytics from Cloudflare, and Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated submissions out of our sign-up, early access, and contact forms. Optional advertising cookies are described in the next section and are only used if you accept them.
Every public page has a "Cookie settings" link in the footer. It shows what we store and, where we use an optional advertising cookie, lets you accept or decline it at any time. We honor Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends that signal, we treat it as a decline and do not use advertising cookies.
Emails that our customers send through MeetBobbie campaigns may track whether you open the email and which links you click, so the sender can see how people engage. You can unsubscribe from any campaign email.
10. Advertising Measurement (Meta)
On our public pages for nonprofits (the MeetBobbie for Nonprofits landing page and sign-up page) we may use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure how our advertising performs. If you accept the cookie notice, Meta may receive:
- Which public page you viewed and that you started or completed sign-up
- Your browser and device information, IP address, and Meta cookie identifiers
- A one-way hashed version of your email address, sent from our servers when you complete sign-up, so Meta can match the sign-up to an ad without receiving your email in readable form
We tag these events as coming from our nonprofit audience. We do not run the Meta Pixel inside the MeetBobbie app after you log in, and we never send Meta your contacts, supporters, notes, messages, or any other content you store in MeetBobbie.
You can decline in the cookie notice, change your choice by clearing this site's stored data in your browser, or manage ad settings in your Meta account. Meta's use of the data is described in Meta's own privacy policy.
11. Google User Data
If you connect a Google account (such as Gmail or Google Calendar), MeetBobbie's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We use Google data only to provide and improve the features you asked for, such as showing your conversations and sending email you approve.
- We do not use Google data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- We do not allow people to read your Google data unless you ask us to, it is needed for security or to follow the law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- We do not use Google data to train generalized AI models.
- You can disconnect Google at any time in your settings or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Conversation notices (optional). If you turn on conversation notices, MeetBobbie looks only at the header lines of emails you have sent from your connected Gmail or Outlook account (sender, recipients, subject and date) and whether the recipient replied in the same conversation, so it can suggest people you may want to add. It does not read the body of any email for this, and it does not look at the rest of your inbox. If you choose to add a person, MeetBobbie reads your emails with that person from the previous 90 days, up to 50 messages, one time, to summarize the conversation on their record, and then stores new emails with that person as they arrive. Emails with a person you have added are visible to the members of your workspace who can see that person's record. The setting is off until you turn it on, it is per person, and you can turn it off at any time.
